The Tigers are coming.
LSU added a big piece to its recruiting Class of 2016 on Wednesday afternoon when offensive tackle Glen Logan pledged to join the Tigers. Logan, a Destrehan, La. native, is one of the nation’s top-25 defensive tackles and still has room to grow, both in terms of literal size and skills. He picked LSU over more than 20 other scholarship offers from most of the nation’s top schools.
Logan is already 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, but by the time he lines up in Baton Rouge he could resemble an entirely different animal. A Tiger perhaps? Perhaps.
Of course, the Destrehan star still has a year of high school football remaining, so much could change. For now, he’s adamant that he won’t stray far from home when the time comes to elevate to the next level.
Wondering how LSU earned such loyalty? A whole lot of customized birthday cards on Logan’s b-day didn’t hurt.
