Another top linebacker in the Class of 2016 is off the board, and where he’s headed may be a bit of a surprise.
On Sunday evening, Ohio born-and-bred, Rutherford B. Hayes High linebacker Ethan Tucky chose to spend his collegiate future at Boston College. He selected the Eagles ahead of scholarship offers from the likes of Wisconsin, Iowa and Cal, to name but a few.
The Eagles don’t know what precisely worked with recruiting Tucky — maybe it was the Drake covers — but whatever it is, a few more players of Tucky’s caliber might just do enough to help Steve Addazio’s Eagles take the leap from outside hard charger to legitimate contender in the ACC.
Don’t ask us, but that sure sounds like the kind of thing Tucky may have been signing himself up for.
