Alabama's latest recruiting photoshop job is taken straight out of Stan Lee's sketchbook

Alabama isn’t one to be left behind as coaches use increasingly unique outreach to connect with would-be recruits. Nick Saban and co. are tapping into their inner superhero geek to inspire their latest outreach, and it appears to be having its desired effect.

As noted by College Spun, Alabama running back target Devin White received a customized cartoon photo of a burly rock monster with White’s screaming head photoshopped on top. It’s a memorable image, and one which apparently got the attention of White quite quickly, as you can see from his comment in the tweet he posted showcasing the artwork.

Why a rock monster? Largely because of White’s burly physique. The Springhill, La. native already tips the scales at 6-foot-0 and 235 pounds, though his bulk has never exactly slowed him down; it’s just made him tougher to stop in the red zone.

Will White be a beast for Nick Saban’s Alabama? Most still seem to believe he’ll end up at in-state LSU, though customized efforts like the most recent one from Alabama can’t hurt.

Then again, apparently Arkansas’ social media strategy has had an impact, too:
